Youth Info:

Trinity Presbyterian Church currently has a very active youth group comprised of middle and high school youth.

We hope you will stop by one Sunday evening and join us for dinner, music, energizers, Bible study, fun and fellowship! We attend weekend retreats with other youth groups in New Hope Presbytery and attend weeklong youth conferences at Massanetta Springs and Montreat conference centers in the summer. We also participate with three other Presbyterian Church youth groups in our area.

In addition, we do mission trips (e.g. Hurricane Katrina relief, Black Mountain Home for Children, and Habitat for Humanity) and lead worship at Trinity at least once a year and at another church at least once a year. Several of our high school youth serve on the Youth Council of New Hope Presbytery, and some of our youth play guitar for the mid week worship service at Wonderful Wednesday and occasionally for Sunday morning worship. Our youth also participate in the Chancel Choir and Chancel Bell Choir.

Presbyterian Kids Program

We also have a Sunday evening program for our elementary school children called Presbyterian Kids. Kids in kindergarten through fifth grade meet on Sunday evenings at 5:00 for children’s choir rehearsal, dinner, and activities led by parents. They also put on our annual Christmas Joy Play in December and a musical in Sunday morning worship in May. They have a lot of fun together, and this is good training for them to move up to Youth Group in the sixth grade.
